Meet Julie Collison

Designated Managing Broker & Owner

Julie was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. She attended Green River Community College and began her career in the title insurance industry. She worked for over 20 years as a Loan Officer and Loan Processor at lending institutions including Heritage Bank, Tacoma Savings and Loan, Security Pacific Mortgage, Key Mortgage Services and ARC’s Mortgage.

Julie obtained her real estate license in April of 1990. She and her husband, Pat, purchased Collison Realty in April of 1990, from Pat’s father Dayle. Pat was the designated broker and ran the company until his unfortunate death in 2005. As a result, Julie took the necessary education courses and transitioned into the role of Designated Managing Broker for the firm. She has been helping make people’s dreams of homeownership come true ever since!

She continues to improve her education, striving to learn as much as possible about the real estate industry with a focus on Law and Legal issues in Real Estate.

Giving back to the community is important to Julie and she has participated in many community organizations and held many volunteer positions throughout the years. Currently, she is an active member of the Parkland-Spanaway Rotary Club, Garfield Street Business Association, Tacoma-Pierce County Association of Realtors (TPCAR), The Franklin Pierce Foundation, Women’s Council of Realtors and the Lincoln High School Alumni Association. She is proud to be one of the founders of DiscoverParkland.com.
